Cranberry Ginger Fizz December 30 2015
This is a great alternative to champagne for ringing in the new year.
6 ounces gin
1 cup cranberry juice
Note: These cocktails can be served on the rocks, or shaken and served as martinis.
Fill four cocktail glasses with ice or chill 4 martini glasses.
Take a cocktail shaker and fill it about halfway with ice. Pour in half of the gin, half of the cranberry juice and a few thin slices of fresh ginger. Shake vigorously to chill the contents. For the gin aficionados who never shake, stir gently to mix and cool the ingredients. Strain the drink over the ice or into the martini glasses. Repeat the steps with the remaining gin, juice and ginger to make 2 more drinks. Top each drink with a few splashes of ginger ale, and add a few cranberries for garnish. Fresh rosemary sprigs add a nice pop of color.
